The unit’s special mirrored interior walls eliminate any shadows on knife surfaces within the cabinet and force the powerful UV-C light to bounce and reach every surface, providing complete sterilization, per the maker. The unit’s mechanical timer can be set for up to 15 minutes.
Hatco Corp. has reached a license and product supply agreement with Minnow Technologies to distribute the MMP-8I Minnow Pods, which safely hold multiple food orders. These units can operate as stand-alone pieces or can integrate with the foodservice operation’s point-of-sale system.

The Vector H Series Multi-Cook Oven line now includes units with wider chambers capable of cooking 16-inch pizzas. The ovens feature up to four independent cooking chambers. The Hobart SmartConnect app helps operators remotely monitor the performance of their warewashers. The app monitors sanitization status and water and energy consumption and notifies users about machine errors. This is the first in the maker’s SmartConnect365 suite of apps designed to connect operators to various Wi-Fi-enabled commercial kitchen equipment across ITW Food Equipment Group brands such as Hobart, Baxter, Traulsen and Vulcan.
Lincoln added easyTouch control to its line of Impinger II conveyor ovens. EasyTouch and a 4.3-inch display screen make changing recipes easier for operators. Users choose from eight full-color recipes and the oven resets the cook times and temperatures. The oven features a hinged, removable front door, an 18-inch-wide belt and a 28-inch-long bake chamber.
